Try running forward while adopting a semi-fetal position, keeping your eye's tightly closed and your marker raised above the level of your head. Point the barrel in the general direction of the bad guys, and pull the trigger as often as you can while running. If you reach your next cover intact, keep your gun up over your head and continue to shoot for 3-4 seconds, just to be sure. Once settled-in, look up over your bunker and see if any opposing players happen to be leaving the field. If they are, claim these kills in the loudest voice possible, and let out a cowboy-style 'yeehaaa".
Not only will this help you claim many more kills, it will also make you extremnely popular with your fellow players at both ends of the field.
Enjoy.

Always run with your hand in front of your face at a jaunty angle.
Once you've mastered running while having your eyes closed this isn't actually necessary. Some people are scared of running into things so they cover their eyes with their hands instead of closing them. With practice, this will go away and you will be able to 'run and gun' with your eyes completely closed. Not having your hand in front of your face will also help you, as you can hold it out in front of you instead, allowing you to make earlier contact with your bunker.

Keep marker in tight, keep low and your top half of your body as still as possible, your legs and your trigger finger do the moving.

Some really good info on here. I've got loads to practice now before my next walk on. thanks guys.
One thing to bear in mind, that running and gunning is commonplace off the break in sup air.Flat ground and high end markers make this a must.If your walk on is wooded or rough ground ,you could be flying along like Federov ,trip on a root/lump and end up flat on your face.Im only guessing but woodsballers probably swift walk and gun for good reason!!
