I've notice my 1.5 Fuel ultra light air bottle losing its fill the last six months. It was due it's first test at the end of April 2017.
So today after filling it I put some water over the reg and bottle and had a fizzing of water in the picture as marked. Just wondering if anyone has a fuel bottle that's having the same problem. If so please check.
,

I have now removed the reg and bottle grip and have had my local site destroy the bottle for me.

Oh wow, that's not good. I don't suppose the bottle had taken many if any nasty dives either which is rather unsettling

I bought mine new mid season last year when i started playing again. Not had any problems.
Who did you buy from. If the shop installed the reg, could it have been cross threaded ?

It's not leaking at the join between reg and bottle. Bought new at a stand at a big game. It's failed on the bottle itself.

I would of email the company direct, infact if you'd kept the bottle and emailed your concern they probably would of investigated the problem and replaced it

Did it have a bladder inside?
If it did i was told by by a retailer that you shouldn't let it get completely empty for a prolonged period of time as when it gets refilled air can get between the bladder and bottle wich can cause bubbling.

Yes I've always kept air in the bottle and at first I thought a part of the reg was leaking. But with the water test there was no leaks from the reg or any part of it. As for contacting the manufacturer it's nearly four years old had loads of use and I'm just glad it's disposed of safely. I had two bottles anyway and at some point I'll pick up another. Thank you all for your input and so long as anyone with a bottle that's loosing it fill sees this and checks I'm happy enough.

The tank is porous. A rare yet dangerous problem.
Get rid of it. Best to drill a hole in it too. That thing's gonna blow when that neck separates. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near it when that happens.
