Ego leak

hey guys i have an ego 08 that is leaking from the grip. having taken it apart and checked the leak seems to be coming from the front of the QEV block where the hosing meets the front and i believe is leaking from the hosing itself not the qev

Have you checked the QEV diaphragm's aren't damaged? Check page 64 of the manual (http://files.planeteclipseb2b.com/ego/EGO8-MANUAL-EN.pdf). I've had it happen to my ego 08. The diaphragms on mine just kind of got blown to pieces. So if it has any dirt on it you might be able to clean them and reuse them. Or you may need to replace them.
Hope you find the fault and fix it.

Two questions:
-When you push your bolt forwards (when it's gassed up) is it hard to move it or is it relatively easy? If it's hard then your LPR body may have a dodgy seal causing the solenoid to supercharge and cause leaks
- Have you checked your diaphragms (as suggested above)?

If it's really the hosing, which I've never seen tbh, then get some more and replace it!

i have just put a new noid and qevs on my 05 and am having the same trouble with the front qev leaking , did you fix the problem and what was it please
