I dont know what an "old fashioned " tourney is but Bullswood Skirmish have a full on day called Stalingrad .

Its what tournament paintball was before the inflatables and power rangers turned up. ;-)

Stalingrad is a scenario rather than tournament. There's a great variety to be found around the country in the scenario circuit.

There is also Diamond Wars at NPF, this takes the monthly walkon and runs the scenario throughout the year scoring month into month. Paintfest is their annual big game / festival and also scores into Diamond Wars for the year.
