So just as we thought Houston Heat would struggle next season, they have just announced that they have picked up 3 powerhouses from Edmonton Impact: Tim Montressor, Ryan Moorhead, and Greg Siewers.

They all played a massive part in Impacts massively successful and consistent performances last season, and it's a shame to see them leave as I think this could prove difficult for Impact to replace them!

JRab to leave next then??
J Rab said he did nt want to become a 1 sesaon player .Who then proceeded to leave RL and do exactly that. Heat when I last looked still had Dizon and have signed T Taylor. More of a problem for Impact is one of the Yachimecs is becoming coach next year (Dad finances Impact) and you,ve got to wonder whether big Dave will go another season. In a year where the Art have joined PSP and everyone in the Champions is looking to upgrade and Heat not folding ,talent is going to be harder to just draft. Some Challengers may be stepping down but the top table is getting stronger. If history is anything to go by a much improved Aftershock may well be nervous as to Impacts shortage.

Impact currently scouting Canadians - Michael Buble has been mentioned.

Big move(s) for Heat. I can still see them struggling to place first, but definitely back in the running for top 4. I mean, they won 1 event in 2013 and after that consistently placed 5/4 and at one point 3rd. Not bad showings by any stretch, but I don't feel that these three will be able to take them over that hump. I see another season of disappointing (in their opinions) 5ths or 4ths.

Impact is another matter, I have no doubt that if they manage to keep Davey B, Jrab, JC, Josh Ouimet, Corey B and the even (as previously stated one of the Yachimecs may be coaching - Citation needed) only one of the Yachimecs, that's a strong roster that only takes one or two smart pick ups to make into a late Sunday team.

Spot on Dave ,and with the guy from Thunder and 187,s Nick Leavall they look to have 2 more solid guys .Big question is can they turn all those podiums into an actual win??

Now this one I am shocked about. After watching the 187 DerDer vid, I was convinced that we would see the same team play together until it folded. Nick Levial leaving will be a massive blow to them, he seemed a character and definitely one of their leading players.

Thunder, don't know a thing about, so I'll reserve comments.

After reading the article myself, I've actually seen that they've picked up Raney Stanczak. Massive pick up, been solid with Damage and Ironmen for a while. Missed that one!

So as it stands the 2014 Impact roster is;

Justin Cornell
Dave Bains
Josh Ouimet
Raney Stanczak
Zane Yachimec
Zachary Yachimec
Justin Rabackoff
Nick Leival
Ryan Martin

Late Sunday through and through, be interesting to see how Nick Leival (187, previously untested in Pro Sunday) and Ryan Martin (Trenton Topgun, Champions bracket visitor) do through the season.
