Head Cams!! Which is the best side to mount the cam to get best video results in field Left or Right? I am new to the game and camera. I'm a right hand player.

im a fan of barrel mounted cams my self, i think it looks awesome, i have a mount set up on my mask and being right handed i have the can on the left.
if you can let me off for the piss pore attempt at paintballing this is from the last time i went

Most guys I've seen with cams mount either RHS or in the middle at the front.
I tried a gun mounted setup but most of the time the barrel is pointed down,so plenty footage of the floor!

I say the primary point is on your head, minimizing ground footage
Idealy on your shooting side - right handed, right side
The problem with this position is your hopper, so try a few positions around the side of your goggles first
Your non shooting side, eg left, will be clear of the hopper. But this side will get most of the trees and bunkers
Experiment, and optionally add a couple of mounts so you can swap during the day

For a barrel cam I used a cheap Amazon handlebar mount,think it was about £5.
Mounted on barrel just in front of hopper,bit of sticky tape to protect anno.

Surely the camera set up you have should feel comfortable to yourself? we can all say what we have and what we prefer.. but what is comfortable and works for one person might not work for you? Just keep playing with it on and see how it goes is my advice. 
The gopro models seem to be the best,but most expensive.£300+ new depending on model.
Contour HD were good we had them in work, but think the company had gone bust now.
I just bought a cheap Ricoh bullet one ,came with waterproof housing and mount £35.(plenty on eBay)
I had to buy a mini SD card for it £7 from Maplins.
Seems ok,to play around with for the price but I can't be arsed with the editing and up loading ,takes ages.

wow! yep lets stay clear of those £300+ ones. lol. Yeah seen a few on ebay which are waterproof and around that price. So you say they are good enough to work with? Thanks
