so im still pretty new to the sport, and i've been talked into going to paintfest, so it will be my first event and im quite unsure about a few things, any help would be appreciated! when would be the best time to buy the ticket? i dont want to buy it too early and then change my mind, but as it gets closer to the time the might be sold out? also, how much money should i bring for paint, food etc and are there gunna be stands and stuff? where i would be able get products maybe for cheaper then regularly? and what type of clothes should i bring for relaxing when games arent on? i heard there was going to be a party :D and also camping gear? surely i wouldnt need a big tent? and would it be worth bringing my own food maybe? sorry for the long post but not sure how else to put it thanks

Im thinking as going as a newbie too.. really wanna play diamond wars without the silly paint prices..

I'd just take 100 cash and a debit card. Id be supprised if they don't take cars but cash couls b3 better for food.

Clothes just normal stuff. 2 man tent will be enough and buy now before price goes up

Tickets get more expensive the closer you get to paintfest. £65-£70 for the ticket I think at last check.
Your paint for the whole weekend will probably cost you about £25 per box of 2000 and you will buy 1-3 boxes depending on how trigger happy you are!
So £25 - £75 for your paint.
It tends to be cheaper to pre order your paint as you get discount sometimes and you don't run the risk of being stuck buying the expensive stuff or not buying any if they run out on the weekend. Have a look about with the big suppliers like BZ, just paintball & LIPs.

There will be stands that you can wander round to buy and barter. Just dress how every you want to dress. Won't be requiring you to wear your best tuxedo unless you want to bring it of course.

No doubt there will be things that are cheaper than normal as the vendors may do feat deals just for the weekend. And yes the Saturday night is party night with BBQ and all sorts of shenanigans :D just take normal camping gear: small tent, chair, table & lamp. Bringing some of your own food is handy so you don't have to queue with everyone else for burger vans etc.

End of day come along to NPF and have an absolute riot, meet new friends and enjoy yourself! P.S. You would love diamond wars & if you go diamond wars or Paintfest - join USDE, we always like extra company :) and [we have cupcakes]
