Well where has the time gone, 5 rounds done , what a year, over too quickly.
The series has the potential to really improve the whole UK competitive scene, I take my hat off to Ainsley and Dylan, you guy deserve all of the plaudits you will deservedly receive.

Round 5 we were able to reunite more of our formers team mates, and managed to field two teams, on behalf of them, I thank the CPPS organisation, the Marshalls, and all of the teams we have locked horns with. Today thanks to the influx of some of our younger ex players Sad UK took 1st in div 5, what better finale to the season, congrats to the team, thanks to Barry and James at Phoenix for the Celtic paint, and for the support of all friends old and new.

So, where next for CPPS, please more rounds next year, at least 1 more, and maybe a 2/3 day event.

Marshalling is always a sensitive issue, today on our field there were some dubious calls, but, they were consistantly so, marshals have to start from somewhere, and before anyone complains too harshly I ask have you marshalled, and if so, remember your first time..

Food, was great, little queuing time.

Schedules ran fine, credit to the staff.

Real time online scoring, bonus

Web cams, and live feeds for elite next year . Maybe

Prizes today thanks to planet, were in my opinion the best yet, thanks Ledz and Jules

So for us, 20 year reunion tour, draws to a close, what next for Sad, watch this space......

Thanks

AWESOME!! And it's equally awesome to see teams like SAD coming back in and having another crack, makes us old timers feel less alone.

Gotta say, the boys at Balls Out, OKPB, CPPS and whoever else is involved have done a mega job to build a venue and series that gives everyone at all levels of tournament ball a real flavour of the big time. For those that only ever aim to work their through the ranks of the CPPS without any heady dreams of Millennium or PSP game time, it really is a fantastic way to spend your ballin' career. And for those wanting to play World Cup, Europe and wherever else, it's a super proving ground.

For us to crawl out from our 5 year retirement hole and dive in, we've loved every second of it. Admittedly, our first round in Div2, with a nervy showing, 5th place finish and a slap in the mouth for pretending to still 'have it' was a real eye opener at what we needed to do, especially when the clever sods thought a promotion to Div 1 against the future Elite teams was a great idea. Luckily, Ledz and co had enough faith is un SandBaggers to dig deep and find our old bags of tricks, magic potions and all that jazz to actually, somehow, miraculously bring some game with us and establish our band of brothers as steady Div1 contenders.

2nd Place overall, 4 back to back wins aint bad for a bunch of slow, grumpy dudes who are jealous of all the kids flying around. We truly cant wait for next year, let alone the 7 man in a couple of months.

Final waffle, MASSIVE thanks to Planet Eclipse, G I Sportz, Enola Gaye, Lips and our whole team.

Roll on 2014. Now, which division will be in then? Hmmm.

I have to say this is most likely more a summary of the season than Round 5 – but I can only repeat what has already been said during the events and mentioned on forums here and elsewhere over and over. “Ainsley and Dylan – well done. You have defiantly put the UK back on the tournament paintball scene in Europe – since this event is a proper organised series and well maintained site. To you and your staff … all London Samurai teams salute you.!”

Besides that, I feel the quality and improvements from Round to Round have been very noticeable and this is from the schedules, to reffs, to all the other elements that you could moan about … but then one of you step forward and tell me about one event where someone didn’t have something to complain about.

London Samurai’s teams will be back next year for sure and looking forward to progress into higher divisions after picking up overall spots in the top 3 in all divisions (2nd DIV2, 2nd DIV3 and 3rd DIV4).

Looking forward to the 7-man and as usual, if there is something we can do for you OKPB.co.uk – give us a shout.

It's been a roller coaster for Lethal Formula as a team this season! But the difference in the site has been phenomenal! As always a massive thank you to Ainsley, Dylan and the crew. You have made something to be VERY proud of!!!

If i can add one thing for the wish list for next year, I would love to see the return of the am/pm sessions. The only niggle for me this year has just been the waiting time between games..... But this is only a very minor niggle :)

Thanks again for all the efforts!

I know what you mean wioth the AM/PM time slots, But i personally thing the way it is now is better for paintball as there is a better atmosphere and there is allways tons of people to watch the finals

with the AM/PM thing, Come the afternoon there is hardly anyone there.

As all have said ,you have arranged a first class series for UK paintball. I think you have it spot on with 5 rounds, and your decision to cancel the PSP round showed you were in touch with your memberships wallets and for those still wanting more you have the 7 man dialled into the calendar allowing anyone still financially standing a breather. No I think you got it spot on this year.Maybe canvass opinion over the close season whether people would like a PSP round.Combining Mills preparation, with an innovovative idea for UK paintball. That way everyone will know what,s coming and seeing Twizz explode at red flags is a must for every Brit baller Lol!
