Reb, I'd like to step in here to say that the information in my statement in regard to this sentence came from him directly. He personally told me and Nichola that it was cocaine (a class A) he was convicted for not a class B, and of course that he served a custodial sentence for it, even describing some of the horrible things that happened to him whilst 'inside' with tears in his eyes...
I'm sure he will have told this same inflation of the truth (still a lie) to some of the people close to him now, it doesn't matter what it's about it is proof that he will lie to those he's closest to if he feels it gives him benefit. Remember at the time we were very close and he'd described me as his only and best friend. Unfortunately at the time I didn't see it, and in that respect I was in the same position as so many are now in. Close to t.b. and benefiting from that, but lets hope that at least some of them can now see that he will eventually turn on them too if it benefits him. Hopefully they can learn from our failings?
Oh and Reb I can answer the questions you set; 1), No, 2),No, 3),No, 4), No. No lies just the truth and 3 of the 4 are in the public domain...

This thread, if you weren‘t already aware, has distinguished itself in attracting more interest than any other thread in the history of paintball forums, and that includes pbnation.
We’re now over 49,000 views with the unprecedented figure of 50,000 looming large in the not too distant future.
Such is the notorious reputation of barnett – it seems a lot of people are curious as to how this will all pan out, not least of all, myself.
barnett has apparently accused me of kicking this thread off merely to drive traffic up on our forum; oh my, how he’d like that to be true but unfortunately for him, this ‘popularity’ isn’t a derivative of his integrity.
People sometimes like to see others on the way up - but what we like even more is when they begin to spiral downward in an inevitable fall from grace … it was always gonna be a matter of time with barnett - And so it proved to be ...
Rebel Tackleberry’s last post in this thread has now brought us to a critical point in proceedings because barnett cannot ignore the four questions Reb poses.
barnett cannot afford to ignore those questions but nor can these people who have supported him … those guys are the ones who now face up to being made to look the foolish …. let’s see how many of them try to wiggle past barnett’s lies in an attempt to save face … if any of them possess one iota of integrity then they have no choice but to acknowledge barnett has been lying to them all along …. Anything less than that and they share his shame …
If barnett chooses silence, then his guilt is evident by default; as for those people who have supported him?

barnett’s strategy in all this is firstly, to try and shoot the messengers, those being myself and the other posters in this thread - secondly, he denies everything, and hopes people don’t find out the truth; this strategy has worked for him, until now.
And while all this has been going on, barnett has been talking about how he’s going to deal with me, his ego won’t allow himself to just take this sh!t, he has to say something to his haemorrhoids or he looks weak and powerless, which of course runs contra to how he likes to portray himself to others.
All those lies and all that BS are now coming home to roost for him.
The terrible truth for barnett is, he hasn’t been able to do one damn thing about myself or indeed the other posters in this thread.
One of the things that becomes painfully apparent in all this is the way barnett likes to portray himself.
It’s all a façade, a web of lies that has ended up ensnaring him because he cannot ever be the person he was trying to portray - no matter how many times you might tell people you are a 'fighting man', you have to be born that way, it's inside of you and I know what barnett is, more importantly, I know what he's not, he's a coward and a bully, and most certainly not a fighting man.

I’m gonna end this post on a controversial note, and after you guys have read this part, you will hopefully understand why I felt compelled to mention this subject because it’s not something I would normally take part in but this has to be dealt with.
One of the many things barnett has been saying to people in these past weeks is a cynical distortion of the truth to suit his own nefarious ends.
barnett has told people that he was really angry and hurt concerning what he described as ‘people using his kids’ to get at him … his words not mine … he recently told this to someone I trust and because this person hadn’t read the entire thread, he believed what barnett was saying.
I can’t blame the person I know because he would never have thought that anyone would say such a thing and it not be true … but this person hasn’t yet seen just how low barnett stoops.
I wish to make something 100% clear:-
‘NOBODY IN THIS THREAD HAS USED HIS KIDS TO GET AT HIM – barnett WAS THE PERSON WHO USED HIS KIDS TO MALIGN AND DESTROY THE REPUTATION OF PETE RUSSELL BY IMPLYING SOMETHING INAPPROPRIATE HAD GONE ON – WE ATTACKED BARNETTBECAUSE HE USED HIS KIDS IN SUCH A CYNICAL WAY ..
I don’t even want to imagine how Pete Russell must have felt when barnett came out with that cr@p, I think, that in my 27 years in paintball, that was easily the worst thing I have ever come across .. that point alone sets barnett out there in a league of his own.
This guy elected to attack Pete Russell using his own kids as emotional leverage, and then he twisted this around and had the audacity to accuse people in this thread of an inappropriate attack using his kids, seriously guys, is this not the sickest thing you've heard of in our sport?
We need to ingest a diuretic and flush this guy from our system because if a so-called ‘man’ is prepared to do that then there really are no limits as to what he’ll do next.
This onslaught against barnett won’t end, I will make sure of that … as for people who maintain their relationship with barnett?
They now run the gauntlet of being tarnished by association …. If you elect to stand by him, then your connection to him has collateral consequences …
He has to respond to Reb’s questions or he stands culpable of flat-out lying to people, if he chooses to remain silent, then he’s guilty as fuhk .....
If people continue to defend him after this post, then in my mind, they are just as bad as him.
It's a dilemma that is the sole construct of his own doing .. have fun barnett !!!

I hear that barnett has had to cancel his blackout event tomorrow - well, I'm glad to see it lived up to its name.
My my, I wonder if it's true and if it is, I also wonder what caused the cancellation .... Hmmm, I have no idea !!
And if my crystal ball isn't too misted over, I think there might be other things happening in the background in the not too distant future .... Wow, these crystal balls, they're really good you know .......,tick ...tock .....tick .....tock ......Whatever next???

As an addendum to the post immediately above - I had some people contact me last night telling me barnett's event had been cancelled and generally speaking the main reason an event gets cancelled is because there's nowhere near enough people signing up.
Apparently the event was capped at 50 and he could only get 4 .... if that's true then a shaft of sunlight appears from the dark cloud that's been over paintball since barnett got involved in our sport.
If anyone can confirm these numbers, then I'd be grateful to put it right.
If true, then it would seem player power has decided the fate of barnett which in itself is encouraging leastwise to me it is.
As Jim [Dusty] so acutely observes, the players voted with their wallets ......after all, who wants to give money to a person like barnett anyway????

Hah, good point Jay - the mystery though, is for others to ponder, I'm just well-informed and the crystal ball is but a propNot much of a mystery if you have a working chrystal ball though.
Update on Cancellation of Barnett's 'blackout' event - there are two accounts of the reasons why the 'blackout' event was cancelled; it would appear that either 13 out of the 18 bookings cancelled at the last minute, or there were only 4 booked in .... either way, I think people are now voting with their feet ...
If someone was to ever speculate as to who caused barnett's ultimate downfall - there is only one person who can take credit for that, I wish it were me but unfortunately I'm unable to wear that particular medal - the person responsible for barnett's demise is unsurprisingly ........ barnett himself ... take a bow barnett !!!
