We will have a "fast track" or "verified" service available in the future, basically you throw a couple of quid at us via Paypal, so we have your contact details and address on record, and will then let you have the access as normal.
This seems like a great idea. For people like me who are new to paintballing and don't know much about it just yet ad therefore don't feel like I have anything relevant to post in forum questions etc, paying some money to fast track to enable me to buy or sell on here is great!

Has this been set up yet does anyone know?

I joined the sie recommend by a guy Alan from Justpaintball.com as a place to sell my G36 elite which I bought recently from him. As I'm knew I went for a gun that I liked the look of rather than what people suggest and advise for beginners. So I'll soon be looking to sell on here and then replace with something else.

Any suggestions for a good beginners marker would be useful and appreciated.

Cheers.

Just upgrading to platinum membership will do that for you
http://p8ntballer-forums.com/account/upgrades

But a new player does not have nothing to contribute, put up an introduction post, tell us more about yourself, where and how you play
Why you don't like your current gun (you mentioned elsewhere that your mates have more basic guns) what you are now looking for from a gun etc
Take that time posting and discussing to gather information and make a better decision for yourself

Definatley before you buy anything else though, get your hands on some either in shops or walkons

Perfect! Thanks @tommikka

Hadn't thought about contributing in this way, am new to this so perhaps what follows is in the wrong thread - maybe you could advise where it should be?
But in response,

I recently got into paint-balling a couple of months back after going to a paintball day for a friends birthday. We all really enjoyed the day and walked away wishing we could play more regularly but the cost of around £80 per head on that day just is not sustainable to play each week at an organised event. Therefore we all decided to go away and buy our own equipment. We all bought similar priced markers in a 'start-up bundle', a couple of us got the Spyder MR100 pro and others for the Sierra one. Unfortunately my MR100 arrived 'broken' and was leaking air through the barrel, so I sent it back and after seeing my mates block up and split balls in the barrel I blindly come to the conclusion it must be because of the cheaper marker, this is when I then bought the G36 elite for just shy of £400.
This is an awesome marker I think, and really enjoy using it, but we no longer play on my friends land (a 5 mile wood in which we built barricades etc). We now play in a derelict farm building which is a different level to playing in the woods. The farm building has many rooms over 3 floors, underground passages and access hatches within the building which leads to the reason why I want to find a new marker.
The G36 is too big to use in this environment, so am looking for something more agile with good performance and accuracy, without spending too much more than I did on the G36, and I would hope to recoup some money back with the sale of the G36 although unsure how much that would be worth now its been used a handful of times.

I hope this response gives you all a bit of background of the level I am at (Very amateur, and playing just for fun with around 10-12 other mates)

Any marker recommendations would be hugely appreciated, with a price of what I should pay and why you advise each one.

Cheers in advance :)

As you will be aware, P8ntballer has one of the largest, most active and safest paintball equipment classifieds on the web. In part, this is due to the rules of the site, along with the excelent work of the moderating team, but also the due dilligence that you guys, the members, also take.

In order to further protect all parties, as of this post an update has been rolled out to P8ntballer. Effective immediately, in order to Post a New thread in the Classifieds, Post a Reply to a thread in the Classifieds, Start a Private Conversation or Post on someones Profile Page, a user must make 10 20 posts outside of the classifieds section.

The aim is simple, someone who wishes to re-register to circumvent a ban, or simply just to rip someone off via trades done in Private Conversation will no longer be able to take these actions without having to spent time posting elsewhere on the site, hopefully in which, they will be picked up.

It also means if you see a new member with 20 posts, check his history to see those 20 posts are spam or similar and he is wanting to buy or sell something, it is probably not a good idea as he has simply made those posts in a hurry.

We would also like to remind users, new or old, to take a read of the classifieds rules in order to stay safe when trading online: http://p8ntballer-forums.com/threads/read-this-classified-rules.21087/

Best Regards

Does a reply to a post count as one of those 20 posts? Im paintballer from southamerica, the reason im on this forum is to find good stuff to buy since my sister lives in London, but i will not be an active member of this forum since my only purpose on here is to buy stuff, just that, since i will never sell or talk about games and gear in this forum, all that stuff i do it on my national paintball forum :) , im from Argentina. Please someone let me know if the replys count as one of those 20 posts .

@Diego Martorelli replies do count, if you arent basically spamming the forum, or digging up really old threads etc.

Why not talk about paintball in South America? Sounds interesting to me! Start a thread, post a few pictures, you'll soon hit 20 posts!
