Yes but it won't feed smoothly like a force fed. Keep the markers eye system turned on and it shouldn't chop any balls that don't feed properly but you still will need to shake from time
To time when they get jammed up in the hopper. There is cheap second hand hoppers on Facebook groups and ebay etc, when your post counts high enough there'll be some

Very cost effective second hand can cost next to nothin. Not the smallest best lookin thing but excellent piece t start with
If you need to get an interim one then a gravity shelf hopper will be much better than pure gravity
