Robbo, there's another more important reason he won't go legal... Because then the truth will be out for all to see as a matter of public record, timothy will be proven a liar and a fraud with his enemies proven right. He can't risk that! Much better to hide behind his lies and cowardice.

What gets me is the fact that each of his companies are ltd. So limitied liability, but with that they need to publish their financial activities, positions of directorship etc. This stuff is all public and it should be very easy to find the glaring holes, or at least suspicious activity. Even for anyone without any accreditation in the financial sector. For anyone in this world its even easier.

Someone like barnett who possesses his type mentality has a sense of personal entitlement that trumps 'trivial' concerns such as the law, societal conventions, ethical concerns and morality.
In his head, he's always right, always justified and completely oblivious to anyone's criticism no matter how justified.
He could no more stop this inevitable spiral into oblivion than he could accept he's ever wrong in matters - the only thing that's been certain in all this apart from his inevitable demise is the fact that he will undoubtedly, unreservedly, unconditionally blame every other mofo apart from himself for what's happened ... to take responsibility for his own actions would be akin to shooting himself in the head, and how on earth could he destroy what he genuinely believes is, paintball's one true saviour.

Successful leaders know how to get the best from their peer group - all he did was estrange them with his arrogance and/or treachery.

And when he inevitably falls from grace, it's not because he failed, oh no, in his delusional mind, the industry set out to destroy him ... which is ironic because he had previously threatened to destroy many individuals in our sport who had the audacity to question his behaviour, and none of whom ever experienced one atom of destruction at the hands of 'timothy the annihilator'.... he's utterly impotent, disgustingly delusional and a prime facie case for being mad as a fuhkin hatter.

....
His tenure in paintball will read like a Shakespearean tragedy, the flawed Macbethian character irresistibly fulfilling his destiny, powerless to prevent himself from arranging his own funeral.
.. it was inevitable from day one and the only question was, how long it would take.

Well, I believe this is the beginning of the end for him because those people who still associate with him will be forced to consult their own conscience and ask themselves, 'Do I really want/need to associate with this guy and help put money in his pocket' .... Some time in the next month or so, these people will have to reflect on their responsibility to our sport/industry and act accordingly.
If he's forced to retire to the margins of our sport/industry and just service those who are resident up his rectum then our sport/industry will be a better place for it.
Right on ....

Its almost like a bloody therapy.

I cant help thinking about the guys, and the teams that still worship the ground he walks on, when TB finaly dose pss off, what happens to those guys, after been so far in his pocket, how can they possibley turn up at a game without been laughed at, and given some extra lovin in game..
I would or should feel sorry for them, but you know what i dont, its not like they have had enough warning.
Some good lads in amoungst them as well.

Shiet happens i suppose.

Ive sat and read every post. Ive had no personal dealings of a business nature. I went to a staargate game where he threw pyros into the crowd at the players party, wandered round like some self stylised king and when i did speak to him i had an overwhelming urge to bury my fist in his face. I managed not to but grom that one encounter i refused to go near any of his games. I was fortunate to be a member of Ronin at the time. That was years ago and im fine with that. Most of my teammates have regretfully stopped playing over politics and life. Thank you for posting Robbo and those that have commented. The information puts proof to my feelings and the various rumours that have surfaced are proved true.

TBH Gooch, you makes your bed, you have to lie in it, you reap what you sow, and a million other clichés spring to mind. I am personally so glad you are here adding considerable weight to this thread.

It is unfortunate that some of those whom I classified as friends do not warrant any more of my or anyone else's time.

The following still ring's in my ears from one of the members of one of the "sponsored" teams:

"Rob, why don't you do yourself a favour and just move on, let it drop."

As if doing me a favour somehow.

All very well done and easily said if

a) it came from the heart and not their beloved leaders mouth
b) (the most important part) they were not the ones branded thieves and liars, and all but ostracised from your peer group who had gull-ably swallowed every lie uttered from TB's mouth.

The biggest cancer in our hobby is TB. For as long as people part with their hard earned cash to line his greedy pockets and (an ever decreasing) supplier base provides places to play, compressed air services, and paint to shoot, he will still walk amongst us. That is assuming of course that he is not brought to account and remanded at Her Majesty's Pleasure.

A lot of the people who have been caught up in his lies and deceit will make it through the other side, although some will be (and ought to be) too full of shame to show their faces. Let us hope that the community can get back to being a community rather than fractious and separated.

Whilst you may not think so Gooch, but a number of the peer group from the good old days are the ones that need to take a good look at their behaviour and ask themselves some serious questions.

After all said and done, anyone new coming in will take their lead from the more experienced players walking amongst them.
