Used to own an ego8 and loved it! Looking to get another marker and was wondering if ego9/10 or dm9/10 are still as good as they were when they came out? Or would it be better getting a pmr11 as they're 6/7 years old now!

Thanks

If I were you I would buy a mid range gun as they are around the same pricepoint and new. The invert mini gs, proto rail and planet eclipse etha are really good guns for their price so I would reccomend one of them as there is much less that could go wrong.

I don't know loads but I did used to play a fair bit? Ive owned a pmr, pm8, Etek2 and ego8!

Going to have a look at the new lower range planet eclipse guns as I do prefer a spool valve gun!

Dyou reckon any of the guns I'm looking for pop up on here for a bit cheaper? Don't have enough posts to buy on here yet so I'll keep browsing!

Thanks for fast replies

markers have changed so much over the past few years that the only way you will know is actually getting hold and shooting it and getting feel for it.

I wouldn't reccomend that as his budget is around the price point of the other guns.
the Gtek is the budget version of the GEO/CS1 and for the price is well worth it

How have they changed? (Serious question.) I've been out of the game for 6 years and went to a walk on last weekend. It was great fun and at no point did I question my Geo 1's ability. It had been in the bottom of my bag, unused, dirty and unloved. I pulled it out, put a new battery and apart from a bit of bolt stick it worked straight away. I didn't even clean it or re-lube it.

I saw a Geo 1 on here for £300 recently. That sounds cheaper than a Gtek?!?!

As for buying a lower spec new marker being more reliable? What a crock of sh1t.

Buy cheap, buy twice!

well just look at the GEO compared to the CS1. markers are almost at the stage that it will brew up inn the morning for you. i still own splatmasters and my most up to date is an Etek 4.

GEO 3's are roughly £300 now

in my own opinion if you want a spooly that works as good as the top range for a mid range price then they are an option.

i buy old skool markers and its a mine field as parts can be hard to scource.

at the end of the day your wallet (or the wife) is the one that controls what you get and as long as you can smile at the end of the day then your marker does what it should do
