Newest TiPX Valve has the same milling like the TCR Valve inside ???

Hi,
i own a TPX which is working fine no Problem to Play with 300fps using CO2 but with HPA a can´t get more than 260fps then the relief valve will blow. I replaced the spring of the refiefvalve by a bolt so it can´t move to open and used an Reg. with 1100psi outputpressure nothing gets better !

The TCR Valve is more milled inside than a TPX one and may the newest TiPX Valves are milled the same way too !?!?
Cause of the bigger Volume inside the newer Valves there should be have more Punch, more gas = more fps !!!

Hope someone could help me, i have written to Tippmann but no answer and i don´t want to spam them !

If there new Valvebodys i would try to get one before i go mill my one !!!

So i did a bit work on that Problem:
I filed the 3 longholes and drilled some holes for more Volume cause i don´t have a mill(drill).

After testing nothing really went better but after increase the velocity the first shoot was 290fps so i´m pretty shure the Reg. is bad so i did that: extra shim(0,5mm) for spring pressure, shorted the Piston end(2mm) cause it hits the adjustment cap near end Position(max. fps) and also replaced the pressurerelifvalve spring by a bolt so it can´t leak by adjusting in max. Position.

We will see what this modifications will bring next gameday !!!

Cause i got the Information that the Spool of the TCR is also different i did that:

Hope that all the modifications will bring me now closer to my Goal of min.280fps !!!

Coming Weekend i have my next gameday there i go check what happend !!!

So i have tried last gameday one Magazine and i had 4 shoots around good 260fps and 3 shoots over 270fps and i used my Phenom Barrel.
I think it could be more fps if the Paint is bigger and prefect round or a more Slim Barrel with round balls also would help !!!

I will go on make more room !!!

So you Need to spend ca. 70€´s to upgrade your old TPX which was sold with HPA-Adapter to use HPA, but didn´t told that you can´t get high fps by using HPA. So i´m not a happy as TPX buyer anymore and since Tippmann belong to this bigger Company the Service went to Zero Quality !!!

I won´t spend cash for this better wait for the TiPX that will come with that from factory or wait if Tippmann overs a free Change by buy a TiPX and also make old owner happy too !!! I still like my other Tippmann´s but the TPX since i own her i´ve never been very happy with her cause i don´t like CO2 Cartriges(cold is evil for grease).

Here i did some after works !!!

The Spool is now more Slim made by a round file. Inside the Valvebody i drilled some not deep holes and one deep also shortend the Exit of the spool direction Powertube(the crown Thing in the middle). At the EndCap i filed a bit cause i can´t lock this Piece in my drillmashine !!!

My next gameday will be this saturday after i go tell what happend !!!

Here my results:

The paint i´ve used for test was bad(very small and unround) around 1-2 mm space in the Barrel + eggs, that´s why very high fps jumps !!!

So i don´t go mill or file something for the next test, i only use a much smaller bored Barrel i think my smallest one is my 688 AA Back.

What bore size does the TCR got ? May less than a Phenom or TPX Stock Barrel ???

So i did what´s possible with my Tools !!!

Used a drill to drill and mill a bit more inside the valvebody. The EndCap is now more Slim and also the spool is more Slim. For the final test i go use my smallest and longest A5 Thread Barrel, AA-Back 688 and 20 Tactical Tip.

If ... i may go sell my TPX !!!
