Hi,
here my newest Project for the Winterpause !

First i can only Show you the main System of the sleigh mech, grab the movement of the bolt. The final one will be made of much better material for shure, it´s just a prototype to test the function and see where i Need space etc.

There i made a Video to see the function:

I´ve cut the slide in two pieces. the left side is very Close to the finished size:

Need to build also a longer gripframe Piece to get the same lengh like the slide got ! Cause would look much better !!!

I cut the 2mm alu sheet metal in the size of the slide by metal saw. After i used a small vice (cause i don´t have a bigger one) to form the slide Shell 90° in the lengh and used a hammer to get a small radius. For form the end part i used a simple plumber wrench and for the final fit i used some files in different sizes.

I´ve finished both slide Shells and did some work for the bolt catcher !!! Been much harder then build the left slide Shell !!!

So here i build d the slide Piece for the Barrel not 100% finished cause i Need to buy first some nuts and screws, the nuts will get fiberglased on top where you see the screws i put in for show !

Later i go drill some holes through the slide Shells to install them on ...

So i finished the slide return spring System pretty quick and simple !
Formed and filed some sheetmetal and used an old RC-Carspring.
So now you could already use it as fake slide but the Goal is a different but with boltcatcher you still do a fake loading !!!

Here i got the final design of the bolt move catching part. Will be filed later out of steelness steel and i Need to think about the best way for me to install it easy etc. !?!?!? (The spring on the last pic is just deko for noobs)

OK i´m pretty Close to finish ! The catch mech is done but i Need to adjust some things cause it doesn´t slides well, cause form that Long sheetmetal with a vice is pretty ...

I go take it slow and enjoy the fiberglas free work !!!
