Closer to the airport than Barleylands. Although I normally flew into London City and it was only a 30 min drive.

I had no issues with the Barleylands site, but change can be interesting. Although the lack of pubs nearby is a bit shocking.
The Chez Winter campsite bar and Grill can easily be re-opened!

Ardingly ,SofE showground is as a venue ,ideal for a paintball event.Like Barleylands ,acres of parking .A show arena ,big enough for 3/4 fields with plenty of flat grass surrounds with tarmac roads in case of bad weather. It lacks any immediate "city or night" life. There are 2 pubs in Ardingly on the entrance and in the village. The only person who got from Gatwick to Ardingly in 10 minutes ,was a fighter pilot who badly overshot the runway! Rural is a fair description , but not isolated. Wakehurst Place is immediately next door and there is the scenic reservoir in the valley. Crawley is about 8 miles away and has the night life and buzz that most might crave and is loaded with hotels of all prices.Brighton is a bit further and has more nightlife ,but as a base is problematic as parking is steep and getting out of is a pain. The most suprising thing is from now on I can claim to have a"London" address!

Only 37 teams registered for this weekend's NXL Winter Classic, and only 6 Pro teams - including Strange!

We also have 11 teams playing under the "Paintball Combine" banner, spread over 4 Divisions......and don't forget it's an Open format, so we may see a few upsets!

They played in Chantilly last year and didn't do too bad actually.
