what would people buy for £1000 (Marker, air, barrel, hopper, kit bag) for the different player positions (back, mid front), for a player that plans to go far in the game?

different people have different opinions lets hear them.

Come on Mak D, they are VERY good, I'll give you that, but as for wiping everything else of(f) the market, I think you're going a little far!!

In answer to the original poster, I don't think think you can recommend a certain set-up for each position, it's really just what you are most comfortable with and allows you to eliminate players, win games and not spend time troubleshooting... Horses for courses...

I'd go for the following kit:

Impulse
1.5L 4500 Air (for Back/Insert Players) / 1.1L 4500 Air (for Front Players)
Freak Barrel-System (saves a lot of aggravation)
Halo Hopper (well worth the money)
Mantis Kit Bag (great design)

If you want to upgrade later you can always I-Frame the Impy
