1.9*3000=5700
1.1*4500=4950
So more air is held in the 1.9 3k than the 1.1 4500. But if you run an HP reg you will get drop off below 800psi - take off that 800psi and useful pressure is
1.9*2200psi=4180 =2% more shots from 1.9 3000
1.1*3700psi=4070 =2% less shots from 1.1 4500
So almost the same (note - thats not how many shots you will get!! just a comparason of the amount of useful air held, the numbers are arbitary).
But the 1.1 will be much lighter :)

Your right, but. Really speaking, you only have 5700 and 4950 litres at full pressure.

So after say 100 shots, you will have a much lower pressure, therefore less air.

So you cant really work it out accurately like that, other than to (quite rightfully) demonstrate that there is more air in a 1.9 3000 psi tank, than a 1.1 4500, so should give more shots.

You should really consider, the volume of air used at what pressure. Say an Ego, uses a chamber volume of 1.5 (no idea if it does) cubic inches at 280 psi, which is 504 cubic inches of air.

If we assume that a 1.1L tank is 68 cubic inches of volume, then we know that 0.025L x 504 = 12.6 L of air per shot at 280 psi.

So now, those people who can be arsed and don't have to use garden wire to make a large set of Angel Wings right now, can reverse engineer the equation to work out what pressure will be left in the tank after 1 or 100 shots for ease, before they recalculate the pressure and volume of air for next shot or series of shots and really consume some time.
