A1 eye question [FIXED]

How do the eyes actually work in an A1? Does it only say "no ball" when the eyes can't see each other - or does it say "no ball" if the eyes are faulty (ie. the receiver can't see the transmitter)?

Only asking, as mine seem to say "no ball" all the time (even if the eyes are disconnected from the main board).

Damn! Yet another 2nd hand marker with a fault . And I've just spent a fortune 'flying' it.

Time to make a phone call...

I think 'ribbon roughness' has come in to play. Oh well - I'll just fix it. Thanks :D.

EDIT : Just had a re-look and guess what. The receiver has come away from the ribbon. Doh! I really need to get my eyes tested. A new rxr is on order now :).
