Alex is not with us anymore, he's been taken from our community unexpectedly. and so cruelly young in life.
It's bad enough when one of our players dies but Alex's departure sickens us to the gut because of his circumstances.
It's just not fair .....
I never heard Alex complain once despite his obvious problems which in my book, is a measure of the man.
His enthusiasm for our sport endured even when his condition profoundly affected his ability to play.
I don't think I've met anybody who was able to endure so much hardship in life and still conjure up the resolve to carry on as usual.

Alex's final walk to paintball's dead-box is a sad day for all who knew him or knew of him - I was privileged to know him and I'm sure everyone will feel that same degree of injustice and loss.
Alex Heath was a courageous man and if there is a god up there, I hope he looks after him and wipes him down of all the hits he took in life, Alex Heath was a good man and has endured much .....
