i used a nighstick (.692) and couldnt get it above 220 before, then swapped to a smaller bore barrel and went straight to 290's, shooting a Demon

Just a thought but could the dial on the reg be dodgy, could the reg be the broken part and that's what's causing the velocity to be low?
