Axe initial airing up problem

I have an minor and more irritating than serious little quirk with my Axe that I am hoping one of you experts out there can solve for me.

When it is first aired up at the start of the day and fired it only releases a small amount of air which is not even enough to push a ball a inch up the barrel. To get it working I have to take off the barrel and fire between anywhere 5 and 20 shots at which point it will suddenly start to shoot normally and will then be fine for the rest of the day.

Any ideas?

What's your PSI on your Axe when you're receiving this problem?

it was 200 on a standard bolt, have recently changed to boss bolt so now 160 but same problem.

New battery in I guess?

Take the bolt out, by unscrewing the back. Put it back in all the way until you can't screw it anymore.

Put the PSI on your Axe down to 140 - test if you still get the problem

Many new batteries and makes no difference. I can have a play with the pressure and velocity adjuster tomorrow.
