a back player is the backbone of the team, they have to watch the game and relay the information to the rest of the team, keep the front/mid players coverd, try to shut down running lanes, keep the oposite back players hemed in,and be prepared to move up when neaded:eek:

all of that and more infact!

the back players are the 'eyes' of the team, they pass on info to the mids and fronts as well as coordinating the fire power of the other players to help the fronts move.............without good back players the little skinny guys are mince meat!

but also

Front & Mid players have to communicate to these back players to try get angles on the opponents, normally good back players will sweep up and hang the flag.
a good back player needs great vision, loud lungs, and loads of paint:D

A good back player.

Needs a great liking for fast food and beer.
A dislike for physical fitness.
A love of pulling the trigger.
Not frightened of being the last man standing.
Have a BIG set of lungs, to communicate what your EYES see.

That about covers it!

One other thing.......the trust of everyone who plays in front of them.

So true!!:)
If the front guys dont trust their back guys....GAME OVER!!
If the back guys dont communicate to their front guys ...... GAME OVER!!
Its pretty much a mutual agreement. If your back guy says jump,
you say HOW HIGH!:D
You could have the best skills in the world as a front player. But without your back guys, your lucks goign to run otu sooner or later!;)
The only thing i can suggest for training techniques is to set up a basic field. At one end have 1 or maybe 2 players. Then have a back guy and a front guy at the other. Have a normal break out to your primary. Then have the other players randomly moving to barricades and shooting too. The back guy should start relaying info to the front, like what he can see, control over your movements (eg. He's on the lie down infront... MUG EM!!, move to the teebag). Gradually as time goes on front players should generally start noticing when its time to move, but the back guy should always relay that information. Its vital to key moves, and can affect a win/lose situation. Try it out :)

and depending upon the skills of from/mid players then the back players may have to move and sort out the game
