thanks for that, I'm probably going to fork out a little more extra for the newer version as it will probably be worth it in the long term.

And i've got way to many batteries anyway, it will be good to get rid of some

Everyone seems to swear by these planet eclipse markers but what is it that makes them worth the extra money compared to an invert for example?

They aren't "worth" the extra money, it's a case of branding mostly.

A mini/axe will shoot 10.5 bps @ 300 fps

The same as a geo/ego. The P.E. gear is manufactured to a higher standard but there is no performance benefit if that is what you mean
