Got some Magnum Stealth's for Christmas off the GF, used them for the Chrimbogeddon on 29th and they were outstanding. Through water, mud etc it had no problems with. Feet were nice and dry after the event.

there are two ways you can go.......... to protect your ankle the walking boot or army boot is the way to go that includes being waterproof. OR you can go with the football boots in the mud to give you traction at this time of year............I have a pair of lowas....army issue great boots

A buddy of mine wears those toe shoes(each toe is separated). Just the thought drives me crazy. I don't know how he does it.

Is it best to wear walking boots or Astro style ones for speed(similar to what people wear in speedball)
Depends on where and how you are playing

Astro / football cleats are great on Astro or good conditioned grass on a well kept speedball field
But run around the woods in them and risk your ankles on rough ground
