best way to get water out of a gauge ?

not sure if this is in the right section but if not it can be moved.


right to take my gauge of my previous frm it had to be submerged in hot water to loosen the loctite ( dam smart parts super loctite) and the gauge filled up with water and before i put it on my new frm i need all the water out so what is the best way, so far it has bin on top of radiator for a couple of days.

drill a small hole in the plastic cover and suck it out with a syringe.
