Hey guys,

Got a recently new CLone GTi and have put about 9000 shots through it, and it's still shooting consistently at around 250-260 fps. Sometimes it'll chuck a few out around 270 and the first shot will sometimes come out in the 280's, and the input pressure is set at about 118-120 psi... can anyone help please?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks!

sounds like the oring on the bolt is to dry that is the same as what my old vx did
ah ok, err... the forward-most o ring right? Man I thought I'd greased this gat up pretty good lol; on it's first outing at training, it was shooting around 240 fps when I'd chrono'ed it at day's end... is this normal?

it sounds like it is sticking clean the bolt and grease all the orings and it will run better about 270/280

first shot is high from your abs/fsdo being too high...
and occasionally you'll get a stray ball with a bad batch or lower quality paint.

also why are you shooting at 250/260? :S

Hey man, I'm shooting at 250-260 because my Clone won't go any higher- I've got it running on the maximum recommended input pressure (approx 120psi), but the velocity stays at around the 260 mark +/- 10fps and yeah, the first shot is usually in the 280's
:-/ trying to figure out what's up as I'd like to get it shooting consistently around the 295fps mark like my geo 3 does

change the battery, if your first shot is going higher (280) which will be from an increase of dwell, try factory resetting the board - as the increased dwell from that should then up the velocity. Never owned a clone so couldn't tell you a dwell or psi too set them at im afraid.

There's nothing in the manual about max/min input pressures.
Stock dwell is 12ms - this seems quite low for a spool :S
