The stock barrel is pretty good,if slightly over-bored,save your money and spend it on good round, consistent paint.

I have found on poopy weather days the stock barrel is better than my silly priced barrels for my 08. However i have the python "bore" kit (mini freak kit if you will) where i pick the right size insert for the paint being used and screw the stock barrel into that. for some reason this works pretty well. However, the shaft 4 on my 11, as Mr sanchez says, its pretty dam good for a "stock" barrel.

ooo and to add. have a mate i ball with (not in a gay way) and he uses the python kit and stock barrel on his ego 8. he says he's never needed to try other barrels as its pretty dam accurate as it is.

If you want the truth, not alot of difference. How different can a tube be to another tube?

Its looks and weight at most.

Well kept, decent round paint, and plenty of training will help with accuracy.

Plus a marker with good shot to shot consistency that keeps FPS variation to a minimum

So your regs and other internals need to be well serviced and maintained

    Correct its just a tube

the main thing that makes the difference is the bore sized up to the paint

the shaft 4 barrel is better than the stock 08 barrel as the bore is longer and guiding it further for a more stabalized shot

The problem would be trying to find a shaft 4 barrel tip. Planet only sell the boost kit which comprises of 2 x barrel backs 0.685 & 0.693

correct, thats why I use a un1tec barrel as the control bore is the entire length of the barrel. If any barrel is going to be more accurate than another (doubtful) then its this one.
