Dye marker servicing

Hey folks. I'm looking to get myself a market sorted soon. I am considering the DYE and trying to find out as much as possibly as they are a bit more £ than the rest of the marker out there, but if they are great then I'd be happy to invest in one!
I'm wondering the usual - how are they? How easily to service yourself? General Maintenance? PB Break issues? etc.

P.s. I'm in North East Scotland so it's often 10oC or less so a very important aspect is how it handles in the cold!
