dye NT10 missfire

hi guys

i have an issue with my dye nt10 marker, had been working well but last used it at mayhem's big game 2016 when it started jamming, it would fire a few times then stop, had to press and hold the trigger for it to clear, then it would be ok for a few shots and then stop again, gave it to techs who were seriously over loaded with work and they had a look.(thanks for trying guys) on last game the problem returned again......
any ideas/help/clues???????

Give it a full clean down and check the eyes mate (in fact try running the marker with the eyes off and see if it works properly, then it narrows it down to an eye issue)

runs with no eyes but still misses balls being shot and has loaded more than one ball to shoot which creates a jam......
eye pipe was checked by tech as it does have some fracture but not where the eyes line up through......

Does it fire fine without paint.

from memory yeh fine...
will give it a run up tomorrow....

a friend had the same problem and sorted it by dialing the dwell up to max....??

If it's firing fine but then having issues once the paint is on it could be a hopper feeding issue or issue with eye pipe/detents.

Swap out the eye pipe for a fresh one and regrease the engine

thank you both for the advice, will give it a looking at tomorrow. will also need to sorce a new eye pipe.......
