Etha Bolt Tips

Hi PE guys

I've read quite a few reports of the bolt tips on the Etha wear away quickly. How quickly is that? Every few cases?
Is there a fix for it?

Reason I ask, is that I am looking to purchase a nice grey Etha + EMC kit and a bit worried about the tips wearing out (I know they are cheap to replace - but if the wear is every time you play, you replace the tip then I might skip it).

I used a Etha last session and the tip only worn out once. And when i say worn out it just fell off as it wasn't nice and tight on the bolt end. it was used at least 1 training and one toury a month so was a fair few shots.

You get 2 in the spares kit anyway

Think i'll go order one - got my eye on that sexy grey and black Etha
Or maybe the HDE camo one
(guess it doesnt matter as the EMC kit will be on it!)

I got the red one been playing with it for nearly a year and no probs yet

have some Geo3´s in team right now. 2 of them had some probs with the soft tip. The Soft-Tip gone off and the bolt did not move any more.

In my opinion it`s a prob with old Paint on the softtip or behind. The softtip is swelling cause of the oil in the paint I think.

I have had no probs at the moment cause all internals cleaned up after training or tournament day.

You also can use a bit grease on the softtip. It would be more durable.

FYI : The newer Ethas use the Geo 3 soft tip now.
