Flying with Flybe

Im on a domestic flight in a couple of weeks, gatwick to Inverness Scotland.

Has anybody flown with flybe and had their marker in hold luggage?. Are they generally sound with markers in hold luggage?

No, not Flybe, you shouldn't let them check the bags into the hold. If you make enough of a stink, and wave your arms around, they will let you take your gear on as carry-on for sure. Don't give up the first time they say it's against regulations though (they have to say that), just keep pushing and using stronger and stronger language, and eventually you'll get what you want.
