Whats the best way to get into playing in a small or low league with a novice team Is there any starter tournys??? Not fussed really were
Try " Super5ives " at Botley inland from Southampton, Playing this Sunday, If your quick , you can get in there, Be it also that there are a lot of very good teams there as well, Kitch ( owner ) will direct you to play within your team strength with others of the same, speak the truth by not over stepping your ability as this is often the case, they get smashed , then don`t go back. In the same token it`s always better to play a team that is better, you`l learn quicker at having that strength. At the moment I would recommend to play M5 only, to build your strength as a team. Hope this helps, and good luck for the future. . . Bluey
Milton keynes Yer thanks bluey really appriciate the advice Not gona be able to make this sunday am at diamond wars Will keep a eye out tho
Yer he did say in a earlier post i put up just getting as much info as poss Theres a few of us but they not sure on travel and cost like it is with every hobby these day lol Thanks foot did i see you put somthing like vangaurd are moving all to the US ??
Vanguard HAVE moved to the US, there is little to no UK warranty support left. If you own a vanguard and need parts your best bet is off this forum or similar. Have a chat with mclovin if you are looking to play sup air, he can fill you in on the teams that play out of MK. Or if woodsballs your bag speak with @MorphMann or @GodForbid from Northants giants.
Hi Dave, if you are still trying to get more information besides from the ladies and gents that have pointed you in the right direction - London Samurai train mainly at Bricket Wood, so is "near by" and I am more than happy to help out with some additional info if needed. Just drop me a message here or on our Facebook page. Have a good one and good luck in the tournament scene in case I don't hear from you! =P
Two options - look out an existing team, go along to a few training sesssions and ease your way in. You'll get good advice and support from the right team. There are a few series which run beginners/KoTH teams - UK masters do a three man beginners event which looks good. If you have a couple of mates, this could be a fun option..
