Installed the IV core last night, bit of grease, swapped the can over to the new prop shaft and using the new soft tip bolt. Pretty easy to replace!

Got off a couple reball shots and it seemed much quieter, no leaks, no issues so far. I'll need to chrono it hopefully this weekend and should be good to go.

Used mine this weekend. Very impressed, smoother shots, more efficient. Worth the upgrade is you run out of air when playing alot.

Also used mine at the weekend. First thing I noticed was it was much quieter. Very efficient, after going through 3 pods I remembered having 2.5k left from 3k

Chrono was the following:

254, 259, 255, 250, 250, 251

Standard bolt used to fluctuate often, roughly estimated to around this:

269, 258, 265, 249, 250, 261

I haven't played anywhere else than at our club, we have air filling right next to the field so the air efficiency isn't that big of a concern for me. Although, I do like the marker more quite and if shooting "soft" means less paint in my barrel.

I'm a bit skeptic on your chrono results. Did you use the same barrel? Were the balls from the same box? The difference sounds too good to be true. :)

he's guessed the standard bolt results, and obviously wasnt tested under same weather conditions, paint, barrel, velocity etc. can't really use them as a comparison.

Same Barrel (14inch CF Deadlywind)
Same Paint (1000 worth - Valken Redemption Pro)

Same weather conditions actually, also there is guessing and there is;

roughly estimated

Ahh so it was you shooting the Redemption at the JP event this weekend? Was wondering who that was! :s

Those results do seem seriously inconsistent for a Geo 3. My teammates Geo 3.1 (standard hard tip bolt not IV) was having about +-3fps and very slight FSDO (maybe 5 fps) just using JT training paint through a slightly overbored shaft 4 on that day! Not sure if the Valken paint is to blame or the bolt needs some work
