Knackered??

I think it may be knackered... Fibres can be seen. Can anyone confirm?

Should be OK on the neck but a bottle tester will tell you by visuals alone

Normally the neck end is very thin fibre anyway, it covers the metal threads and right at the end offers very little in the way of pressure retention, that's what the reg is for

Agreed, but the pressure pushes against the threads, putting stress on the thread housing, which is why I thought I'd check
