Nobody really uses them anymore mate because guns have got so much smaller. Although to be fair the trend is starting to go back to guns with a longer frame base as found in the LV1, CS1, Vanquish and Luxe. However, drops are very very rarely seen these days on any marker that isn't an old school cocker. I think Lips paintball may still sell the CP micro drop but I couldn't say for certain. I'd suggest trying the Gtek without a drop on it and see how you get along with it before adding one.

There's a practical reason, drop forwards raise the gun when you shoulder your bottle increasing your profile as such.. If you can get used to the integrated bottle mounts, it's actually much better and easier to handle.

Also, being a smaller target is never a bad thing ;)

If you do put a drop on something gotta be a CP flame. Mmmmm stylish.

Think this pic of an overdone Ion says it all...

So cool it needed 2 drops lol
