      What do you guys do if one of you is out? 'Cause I got more than fed up of walking around trying to find somewhere to officially respawn. That's the point where most of us said "I'll be back here in 10" - and by the time we got back, 45 minutes later, everyone had gone.

      always stick and fight near a spawn beacon early into your fight, that way if 1 of you gets hit you an respawn and be back with your mates in a matter of minutes / seconds.

      as you all start to run low on paint or air, decide to do a little operation, either to hold up advancing troops or try and take a compound. that way if you are eliminated your mates wont be far behind and you can either all wait to go back together or meet back in base and then go out as a group again!

      Humm. It looks like most of my people-finding problems stemmed from the fact I had no clue where anything was or when I was supposed to be there. Is there going to be a good (i.e. with Mag North etc) map this year?

      Well radios helped keep the team together for us.
      We stayed in the field for as long as poss then when we had to refuel etc just radiod back to the team to find out where they were.
      The troop transports were a god send to!
      But to be fair even on the few occasios i got lost or just couldnt get back to my team because of enemy positions i just latched on to the nearest group of northeners i could find!
      And yes knowing where you need to be is critical.
      Take the map and objective info on the field with you.

      And most importantly.....

      Just have a damn good laugh!!!!

      agreed with above learn the scenario and you will no exactly were the main action is if you want to get involved,, also plenty of little skirmishes to get involved in!

      You will have a wail of a time.
      If by booklet you mean the game info you get it a few weeks before the game I think once its all been finalized.

      The 2005 wasn't the Caspian Pipeline, it had some pretend river in the middle of the field and was based on some Jungle scenario, I did have the DVD somewhere and was my first NvS.

      The 2007 was based round the James Bond scenario and I remember one of the Generals wearing a great Dr Evil suit with bald head amd a very lucky guy winning a PE "Golden Gun" for being a great player on the day.

      Missed 2008 but can't remember why and been to all the rest since.

      Some of the best paintballing days ever no mater which team you play on.

      I'll be there as usual this year, playing for the North. Unfortunately I'll be in a party of one as my usual guys are all too busy with 'life stuff'. I'd be interested in tagging along with any other well organised squads.
