Paintball presentation for college, -What to put?

Hey guys, so i've been set the task of doing a presentation for college 5minutes long (something i dread) , and I decided to do mine on paintball , I'm just looking for some ideas on things I could talk about, basically, what you would like to see in a paintball presentation, I have a few ideas such as, 'what is paintball' etc etc. but if any of you guys have some ideas i'd be more than happy to implement them in my power point

Cheers guys and p.s, the presentation has to be handed in by the 25th of october, then we will present them 2 at a time each week.

EDIT: Yea my tutor said i'm not allowed to just wack on a youtube vid or w/e but i can use clips of like 30 seconds

Simple answer - get a big screen tv ( or a laptop plugged into a projector), stick on an HK video, turn off the lights & crank up the volume, bring in a dude dressed in full gear, then ask if they have any questions.

I hear Nexus hire themselves out as models, so you could use, say, Ash. Not Clint, though.

But seriously - what are your exact instructions re format & content? Can you use visual aids?

LMK and I will give you more detailed advice.

Don't just do a "slides only" presentation, and hold up a paintball gun. That would only make the audience fall asleep, or walk out.

You could walk out on stage in full gear in the most loadest gear, and try and demonstrate some moves, or just looks Blingin !!

But like fish said, if you can use a projector or something then a small video would be good.

well if it's just about giving your audience some information about your topic then you are best saying what paintball is, the general idea of the game and maybe just explain that there are a couple of different formats (woodsball, tournament, scenario). since you are going to be a nice little ambassador for our sport probably telling your audience things like 'it doesn't hurt as much as you think' or 'anybody can play it' are probably good things to mention! get a bit of interaction going just by asking who's played before and what they thought of it. then possibly as mentioned above a mix video like the pbfashion ones could be a good way to round up what you've talked about

Hire out some sexy chicks, get them the essential kit ie, mask, headbands, marker setup, maybe some footy boots. Dont over dress them
Have them on the field showing different shooting positions, get some low down video footage.

Avoid getting caught in the 'it does not hurt' trap. Someone will probably step in with how much it hurt them or someone they know
Accept that yes it does hurt a bit, but not a lot. If you get involved in the game then only the first hit hurts, then a moment later its nothing. If you don't want to play and hide at the back the it will hurt

Let them have an idea of how they can play, eg avoid ticket sellers, support independant sites and let them know a fair price to estimate a days play.
Then the next stages, getting their own gear, walkons and events such as tournaments, scenarios and specialist events now opening up in unusual venues such as underground, army training sites and massive games such as NvS, Tippmann challenge, and internationals such as oaklahoma d day

Explain all the different concepts from woodsball to full on race to 5 xball.

Make it simple for them to understand. Remember they think we are power rangers
