This actually sounds brilliant. Is this something that one could turn up to as a spectator and to network, party etc? Seeing as I have none of my own kit yet.

You have a few options:
Free spectator - but you cannot camp or attend the party. You can look around, see the traders etc. I don't know how far this lets you go, as you may not be able to get into the game zone (and would need goggles to do so anyway)
£27.50 weekend visitor - you can camp and party, also I'm not sure if that lets you into a game zone, and again you would need goggles if you are allowed in the game zone
£80 rental player - add £5 to the main ticket price (which is now £75) and you get the playing gear provided. Remember to add on paint, which will be around £30 for a case of 2000 depending on which paint/which grade
