To adjust a pure energy reg so the gauge is not stcking in my arm you have to loosen the 3 grub screw's right? then just turn the reg until am happy.

do i have to degas the tank first?

nope...those screws are holding the reg bonnet in place
as far as I know, pe regs have no adjustment, try popping an o-ring into the asa before attaching the bottle
