View, read and digest all of the following:

Ensure the scuba cylinder pressure is appropriate for the paintball cylinder *
Ensure the fill adaptor is turned off
Attach the fill adaptor to the scuba cylinder
Attach the paintball cylinder by its fill nipple to the fill station
Ensure it is correctly attached and the fill nipple & female are securely connected
Ensure you can see the gauges
Slowly open the fill valve and monitor the gauges
(The connection at the fill nipple will 'firm up' under pressure)
Monitor the paintball cylinder temperature, if it is getting warm slow the fill and possibly stop to pause before proceeding (especially if filling from empty)
Before you get to the fill level you want start to turn off the fill valve
Switch it off fully
Press the purge valve
(The 'firm' connection at the fill nipple will loosen)
Disconnect the paintball cylinder at the fill nipple
Remove the fill rig from the scuba cylinder
Attach nipple covers, thread savers, caps etc

* It is possible to fill a 3000psi paintball cylinder from a scuba cylinder with 4500psi
(Ideally with a regulated fill station set for 3000psi output)
If doing so without a regulated fill station then it can be done with care, slowly, and paying full attention ensuring you stop before 3000psi is exceeded
