size question

im planning on buying some slide shorts from the classifeds and their a large, iv looked at your size chart and it says upto 35" waist, im a 38", however my pants are ment to go to 35" waist however they fit fine. (not proto however)

i suppose my question is,
how strict are these sizes?

lol, fair point,

but as a budget baller, i dont realy want to pay full price, and i also dont want to pay for something that wont fit.

im only asking as my playing pants are advertised as a 35" waist and they fit good,
but point taken
