For those that are interested, here are the results from the Skirmish Hyperball / Sup air tournament held today (15/7/01).
Division A
Phoenix 5 500 pts
WDP Factory Team 410 pts
UK Cougars 305 pts
Tango 240 pts
Ronin 135 pts
Millitant Order 135 pts
UK Chameleons were also in this division, however they were using the day as a training session and did not want to play for the trophies. They finished on 510 pts.
Division B
Don't Panic 595 pts
Sad Am 520 pts
Queens Head Nailers 325 pts
Outlaws 310 pts
SAD Too 240 pts
Mighty Shellfish 125 pts
Ultimate Survivors 105 pts
As well as trophies to 3rd in each division, Mighty Shellfish won the Most Sporting Team trophy.
There were also 3 other prizes, which were donated by TEAM TREMMOR who were marshalling the fields (all three were cases of beer, surprise surprise)
These went to :-
Outlaws for Most Entertaining Team on Sup air
Phoenix 5 for Most Entertaining Team on Hyperball
Ultimate Survivors for basically playing there first tournament, only shooting out 6 players in the league games, and still smiling. Good on you.
I have been asked by the marshalls to thank all the teams who played for making the event a pleasure to marshall. All of us enjoyed it.
If team funds would have permitted, you would all have won a case of beer as you were all great.

My personal highlight of the day was to see the WDP team, in the last game, light up one of there own players as he was running back the flag. It did look as if it was slightly deliberate!!!! ( slight understatement). Which player was it ? Only John Rice. Shot by his own invention !!
