UKPBA/Delta Force Link Proof

If I join the UKPBA, do I get access to their database?
In the case of litigation against our industry, could those 500,000 names be of some use, seeing as they did sign up to be members of an organisation?
Do the UKPBA have more members than the UKPSF?
Has anyone actually reached out to DF about this?
1. Unlikely, but the ASA recently got access to it.
2. See above.
3. Absolutely.....but only because anyone attending a Delta Force site is signed up the UKPBA. Apparently this is "odd" but not illegal or misleading.
4. I believe some people have, and have been soundly ignored.

The latest complaint (that Im aware of) will be on the ASA website on the 21st of September. Case ID: A11-161862/IP

But there are currently others with the ASA, and Im aware of possibly another MASSIVE one about to go in. Several independent sites have put complaints in to the ASA about their web advertising.

Come on Missy, are you trying to tell me or at least imply that as long companies or individuals don't break the law it then completelty legitimises them?
In literal terms, yes, at least until they trip-up.

However they are not the Governing Body, in fact the UKPSF and Federation aren't either until they make certain changes to the way they operate to make them more legitimate.
Read the bit you quoted...
They don't say the UKPSF is the governing body, they say the UKPSF claims to be the governing body.
Subtle yet important difference.

God, I love lawyer speak.

Hope Steve Bull doesn't mind me quoting him from a discussion we had via email the other day. But it clears up the whole thing a bit :)

The United Kingdom Paintball sports Federation is the governing body for UK
Paintball and has been since the late 80's when it was the European
Paintball sports Federation which at the time and for a least another 10/15
years the only governing body in Europe. We have over the years had two
applications for sports recognition rejected by the sports council hence the
reason there is still no "official" governing body for paintball as the
sports council (at the time) and now sport UK will not recognize paintball
as a sport.
