trying to fit a new board in my egg,ive taken out all the screws and taken off the lid,but it wont come appart.is there anything else i need to do,or does it just need a damn good thrashing:D

hmmmmm,got it appart and put the board in,got it back together again but the battery door wont shut,it's like the batterys are to long as the door shuts when there not in:confused: :confused: :confused:

Push the battery connectors down a bit mate, a bit of pressure does the job :

Had the same problem with mine, still a tight squeeze though even after pushing them down :(

Very tight sqeeze..mmm...nice...
anyway, check that the on/off operates properley, as on mine it wasnt central and wasnt always making contact properley, stick a blade in the hole and take some meat out...also bit of sellotape over the inside other hole that had the speed dialler in it would be good

Skeet is thinking it is a z board mate which has no speed controller so leaves a gap in the shell where it was on the original and y boards :)
