z board speed

Hiya, this has already been posted sumwer but i couldn't find it in the search. I have an egg y board but it is not fast enough to feed my ramping marker. If i get the z board will it feed quick enough? Or is it safer just to get a halo or reloader b? i was thinking more of the money issue... as upgrading would be much cheaper.

Z Board takes the speed up to about 17-18bps so would be fast enough for the ramping.

my brother has a z egg and it doesnt feed 15bps consistently

more like 11bps

dont beleive the "hype"

my z-board egg could just about keep up with my imp (capped at 13bps) with the shocker its no-where near fast enough, i'd say it will do 11-13bps. I've never outshot my reloader b and i have had 16-17bps over the chrono with no misses.

Yep i have a Halo B with V35 an i have never had to worry about it not feeding quick enough!!

Motors vary from egg to egg. Drop test yours five times and work out an average. My Y Boarded egg drop tested at 18.5 bps. All this 11-13 isn't necessarily true and isn't necessarily false

but actually feeding paint while in a ramping gun its a totally different story...

yes, you're right, but you'd be better off sorting the blowback up the feedtube thats causing a drop from 20 bps to 12 bps than worrying about £100+ on a halo

but how would you sort the blow back up the tube on the egg.

I know the ego does do a lot of blowback, because I have lost half a hopper of paint with a mates halo when leaving the lid open. Just throws it everywhere when you start shooting. Then maybe that is just the halo. hmmz.
