Re assembly

Just say first im not a hater and love my axe more than my own scrotom (recomend to any1), and this is just to stop others with small brains like me doing the same. I was doing a little clean the other day, went to put the top back on the grip frame and was so busy trying to line the back of the marker up that i managed to bend a pin on the board at the front, not realising that the axe doesnt have the little guides that the mini has. Ended up spending an hour trying to line the pin back up exactly otherwise it didnt fire at all.
Also when i first got mine it was fine, then it developed a dodgy solenoid where it took a few pulls before it regestered, so spoke to kee and they replaced solenoid no problems at all. Now a month down the line the replaced solenoid is doing the same, aparently the piston inside just needs a clean off, but i cant undo the screws on the solenoid without the fear of stripping them. Cant be arsed to send it back though and certainly dont plan on selling it so it looks like this is how shel spend her life. X

TP99, don't worry about stripping the screws. Just make sure you use a small driver that fits them exactly and bites right away. Put enough pressure on to crack the thread and ease it off the rest of the way.

Clean the noid parts with q-tips and re-assemble.

When you do them back up, anti-clockwise to locate the thread and do them snug, just don't over toghten them as it really isn't necessary...

G-Day fella, as above how I feel about the AXE has been said But that post that TP99 has me at a loose end as out of the box I`m reading 200 on my ASA ( I still call them OOPS ) Now Ideally the AXE should be running at 180--190 but as I`ve stated it`s running at 200 , would this be any contribution towards the problem TP99 has, now my AXE is running sweet, would it be beneficial to turn it down a slight shade so the above wouldn`t happen , or would you say the problem with TP99 Solenoid has nothing to do with the ASA ...Bluey

I'm almost certain this has something to do with the small rubber topping on one of the internal parts in the solenoid.

As soon as I'm near a PC I'll post a fix for this as this has also happened to one of our AXE's.

If your desperate for a fix quickly, give KEE a call and they will give you an email address for John Sosta who may be able to help quicker.

You could try a solenoid clean. Really easy to take apart. Look on YouTube for an instructional video.

I had a similar thing on second hand mini, the solenoid click was really feint. Spoke to john sosta who told me to take out the solenoid piston and on the bottom of it theres a small piece rubber which looked like it had slightly swollen( petruding out the botton). Once id shaved it down with a stanley it seemed better, but for paranoirs sake i baught a new solenoid anyway... What on earth is tp99? X
