Chronograph checks?

Does the UKPSF undertake unannounced Chronograph checks? From SOME sites I have been to that claim UKPSF membership, they don't seem to give a rat's ass about safety, especially during walk-on's.

To me, that would make a small step in making the accreditation worthwhile to site owners (I am NOT a site owner!).

Chrono checks should for sure always be done, for all own gunners. unless u playing with friends and dont really care

Playing with mates or not it's stupid and irresponsible to not chronograph whenever you play. What the OP is talking about is spot checks by a third party.

Well, this is a problem.

In fact, ever since Nige had the air bottle incident, Ive had my bottle checked to see if its in date maybe 3 times since, and in the last 2 years never.

We are chrono'd at tournaments, but its usually first two players on the field, from each team. Dead players never seem to get checked, and only the flag carrier gets checked at the end, and not every point either.

i'm happy with the checks done at tournaments, especially when they will take 2 random players so that there's never anybody not getting checked.

The 2 sites i play at for fun at walk ons and such do make sure that everybody is chrono'd at the start of the day, but this is done in an informal way, trusting players to make sure they go and chrono when asked to.

on the same topic of tanks, i've never had my tank checked in all the time i've been playing.

I play in the masters and every single player of every team is checked on there first game of the day, then random players from each team every game after, any site I've been to for a walkon do a chrono before the first game of the morning then before the first game after lunch, it Would be in the sites best interest to do these checks, it's safe for the players an makes the site look professional an shows they care about health an safety, if they didn't then why would you go back there as they don't care about anything accept taking ur money,

Well you're obviously happy to attend events that don't care about your safety.
