My team captain is coached by Pascal, he's asking him WTF happened with the Tontons paint. Seems weird they played fine all event, and going up against GI heat, they suddenly had nothing but bad paint.

Then again they may just be pissy, but it did look strange that they were all going through backup guns, getting different barrels, etc because it was so bad.

Well damn Firm lose it 1-0. Lleida just sat and hunkered down for the whole game. They did enough to win.

Also sounds like Lleida were shooting shockers. Have not seen Tontons shooting them yet.
With Montressor on the roster,it's hardly suprising the shocker debuts with him . From 8/9th in the first 2 rounds of the CPPS to SPL finalists .How an earth do you explain that ??

I don't claim to be an expert on the Manchester Firm, but they have been together for 10+ years now. They have had a lot of roster changes, but Wozza has been with them since the early days, and he's Captain now. Remember, the Firm fought their way through the Divisions in the MS a few seasons back instead of buying a spot in a high division.

There are a lot of factors involved in placing in a Tournament. The draw you have, your gear, the paint, how well you have prepared, etc.

For the Firm, it's a matter of everything coming together this event, and fair play to them.

And of course, having a couple of Infamous players with you doesn't hurt either. And why not? Everyone else does it.

Look at London Outcast - strong roster, did well last CPPS, knocked out early in Bitburg. They'll come back stronger, though.

Just out of interest, what paint were TonTon shooting before this game? Did they unexpectedly have to use different paint for this game?

On an seperate note, it must be annoying for UK teams to be drawn against UK teams over and over.

He's checking. I did see Heat using orange shelled paint, and Tontons had the bright greenish yellow shelled paint. So it was definitely different paint.

Side note about paint, the HK exclusiv, or whatever their top line is...was amazing in Puget and heard great things about it in Bitburg as well. Looks like they're making a real effort to provide quality paint.

Just an FYI... The Orange shell was 4* and the Yellow was 5*. We shot 5* all weekend with the exception of the first game on Friday morning (8am)

I got shot by a lot of that in St Tropez, it struck me as very watery. Was easy to clean off the lens though.
