Setting up a team... you may want to join one first and learn the ropes.

As for the law... well, same as any firearm. Don't carry it around in the street, only use it when on a proper paintball site... don't shoot or aim it at people without headgear on...
How do you go about joining a team

CO2 must be phased out completely soon except for 12 g
It's been phasing out for 10 years or more

The cost of a compressor system capable of clean 3000psi and to the capacities required by a site are excessive, and in addition to a compressor will have a holding tank or a series of tanks

If just a punter site then running co2 is still a viable alternative
Even sites that run air for their punters may only run a system capable of maintaining X number of fills a day for the punters and still bring in hpacs trailer to run the air for events

How do you go about joining a team
Either put a shout out saying you want to join a team, what sort of team and where you're based

Every now and then teams put up a shout out for players - even just to play /train with for a day
If into tournaments then you can contact the organizer and a scratch team may be put together for the day

Also what are you after from a team - pure serious paintball, social paintball buddies, or something inbetween

I can offer you
1) TFD, based in the south-ish and around Salisbury, Andover to surrey. Playing scenario events, running scenario stuff and playing about in an urban complex outside Andover

2) amped, based all around the south and up to the London area, tournament team that's been going for 2 years
To be found mostly at Bricket wood or cpps Penkridge training or competing
Training generally is open for people to join in and possibly see if they fit with the team

In that case you don't need a team, just get out playing together, you'll be your own team.
It's only tournament style that needs a team, and that can come from meeting people

Find your local site that runs walkons or pick a scenario event

At a walkon you'll meet the local crowd and plane put on a side for the day, at a scenario you can pick anywhere in the country and pick what side you fancy depending on the scenario theme

Get to the cpps at some point and just have a watch and look around the shops

You will find some details on what's going on around the country on the forum, around Facebook and on the paintball calendar
http://www.paintballcalendar.co.uk

At somepoibt next year get to both the cpps Penkridge and paintfest/npf Birmingham

What's cpps ?please
What Facebook site should we join
As you asked, you should like this page and go through my photo galleries!
(That will actually give you a view of the cpps too)

Cpps is a tournament venue and series, and a visit there will give the opportunity to look over the sports side of paintball

Diamond wars / npf has a group at:
https://www.facebook.com/diamondwars/
Diamond wars is their monthly walkon

But there is so much paintball all over Facebook, that's good for choice but is fractured with information lost in one group or another

Here's a small selection
